There will be two types of reviews on this site, outlined via the descriptions below:

Book Review: “A book review is a form of literary criticism in which a book is merely described (summary review) or analyzed based on content, style, and merit. A book review may be a primary source, opinion piece, summary review or scholarly review.” via Wikipedia
Book (Un)Review: “A post describing why the reader had every intention of finishing and reviewing the book but couldn’t bring herself to do so.”

The goal of these two distinctions is to provide a completely open and honest report of my feelings on certain books with the readers of my blog, and potential readers of those authors. I’ll never recommend something I didn’t enjoy myself, overly praise or attempt to sabotage a book or author’s reputation. Now, onto the reviews!

A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies…
the man who never reads lives only one.” ~George R. R. Martin

Never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them.”
~Lemony Snicket

“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”
~ C.S. Lewis
