#Bookrecs Wanted!

Happy Monday, everyone! As half the northeast is currently covered in snow and ice, including Pittsburgh, I thought I’d take a snow day and work on some blog posts. Turns out, this site reached 100 followers for the first time since its inception in 2016. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I don’t say that enough; and I am very grateful for everyone who takes the time out of their lives to read a blog post, or visit a page, or does so frequently. You’ve not gone unnoticed and I appreciate each and every one of you.

So, to celebrate this milestone, I ran a poll over on my Twitter account to decide exactly how I’d like to do so. This is the result:

Looks like I’m doing a Three Books Three Reviews blog post! My #bookshelf choices have gone, well, a bit stale. So I’m looking for some new authors to love.

-Historical fiction: from Regencies and Victorian stories, to Steampunk, adventure, mysteries, what-if’s and “who done it’s?”

-Stories set in Scotland: highlanders, kilts and sword play, oh my! Give me adventure!

-Fairy tale retellings: almost anything from to YA to NA.

Please nothing with strong sexual themes and far too much blood.

-I love strong main characters with loads of development, and world building.

-As my current WIP is a science fantasy series, I’m looking to read more in that genre as well.

I’m looking for recs because, well, sometimes nothing stands out on the sites you visit to purchase books; am I right?

While it’s true I’ve been stuck on my ereader for a while now, I’m definitely looking to grow my physical bookshelf collection, so give me all the recs!

Please feel free to do so either here, on Twitter, or over on Instagram. Happy reading!
